The project is located south of Beer Sheva adjacent to the existing prison complex on Road 406 at the Nokdim intersection.
The prison project comprises the following elements:
• Two identical two-story buildings accommodating 320 prisoners in each.
• One additional two-story building accommodating 160 prisoners.
• A single-story medical clinic building, including separation and isolation sections.
• A central support building with two wings as follows:
North Wing housing the energy center, stores, central kitchen, laundry and maintenance area.
South Wing housing the reception and release areas, occupational facility, education and religion facility and visitors’ facility. This wing also has an additional story for the administration offices and staff living quarters.
• Parking lot, wall surrounding the buildings, alarm fences, patrol road and a new access road to the prison.
