| The first toll road in Israel is the largest and most complex infrastructures project ever constructed in Israel to-date. The project included paving 90 km of a multi-lanes road, tunnels, hundreds of lighting poles and fences and scores of culverts and bridges. Danya-Cebus acted as a partner in the design and execution management of the project, within the Derech Eretz CJV partnership and also executed works amounting to some NIS480M as a primary contractor. Customer: Derech Eretz CJV Danya-Cebus built in Highway 6: About 60 bridges amounting to an area of about 75,000 square meters and a financial volume of some NIS220M. About 65 culverts and various drainage installations, consuming 30,000 cubic meters of concrete, through a pre-cast method developed by Cebus-Rimon, amounting to NIS75M. Paving the northern section of the road, about 30km long, from Eyal Interchange to Barkai Interchange, at a financial volume of some NIS115M. Retaining walls, constructed through various methods, totaling to an area of 20,000 square meters, walls cast at the site, retaining walls combining pre-cast elements and reinforced soil walls, at a financial volume of some NIS15M. Installation of road accessories, including guard rails, fencing and lighting poles along the road, at a financial volume of some NIS55M. |
